Technical information
Yes! FlexBeam can be taken on a plane in your carry-on luggage.
Important: Due to the lithium battery, FlexBeam must be carried in the cabin with you - it cannot be placed in checked baggage. This is standard airline policy for devices with lithium-ion batteries.
Yes. FlexBeam is rated for continuous operation and can be used while plugged in and charging.
No. The light emitted from FlexBeam is red light at 610-650nm and near-infrared light at 800-850nm. UV light has shorter wavelengths and typically ranges from 10 to 400nm.
No. FlexBeam has been designed to have very low EMF emissions. Mains electricity is a major source of non-native EMF. Since FlexBeam runs from a battery there is less non-native EMF output.

This depends on the program you are using. Different Modes require different amounts of energy, so your battery will last longer if you are using less energy-demanding Modes, and the other way around.
Based on our testing, a fully charged FlexBeam can be used:
Preset 1: Red Glow - 9 times
Preset 2: Dual Wave - 7-8 times
Preset 3: Infra Deep - 5-6 times
A combination of Modes can influence the number of applications you can get before you need to recharge your FlexBeam.
It takes approximately two hours to fully recharge a completely empty battery.
Charge time is 2 hours from empty to full. FlexBeam is rated for continuous operation and can be used while plugged in and charging.

The typical lifespan of FlexBeam battery is 600+ charge cycles, or around 9000 sessions. If you charge once per day then the battery should last more than 2 years.
The FlexBeam uses 9 LEDs in total, configured in 3 light pods. Each pod contains two near-infrared (NIR) and one red LED. The wavelengths are:
- Red Light: The device uses 3 red LEDs operating at a wavelength between 610-650nm. This light is ideal for superficial conditions as it penetrates the skin up to 2.5cm.
- Near-Infrared (NIR) Light: There are 6 NIR LEDs with a wavelength between 800-850nm. This light penetrates deeper into the body, reaching up to 10cm, making it effective for muscles, joints, and deep tissue.
Near-infrared light is not in the visible light spectrum and is not seen by the human eye. You will only see the red lights when FlexBeam is on but don’t worry, the infrared light is there and doing its job.
No. Your FlexBeam comes with the correct adapter for your country. The FlexBeam should be used only with manufacturer-approved accessories to be covered by the 2-year warranty.
